Join us on Thursday, May 22nd to learn more about spinal cord stimulators and their potential benefits for managing neuropathy symptoms. Taylor Grande, Clinical Specialist with Abbott Neuromodulation, will discuss spinal cord stimulation therapy, an effective treatment option that is now indicated for Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN). Many healthcare providers may not be aware that this therapy can be suitable for patients with neuropathy.
Neurostimulation, also known as spinal cord stimulation (SCS), has been recommended by medical professionals for over 50 years to help individuals manage chronic pain.
This therapy may be appropriate if you experience:
- Persistent pain in your back, arms, or legs lasting at least six months
- Neuropathic symptoms such as burning, tingling, or numbness
- Little to no relief from other treatments, including medications, nerve blocks, or surgical interventions
