Using PDF Files
This website, like most others, has some resources available in Portable Document Format (PDF) files. These include many of the items on our resource documents page.
To view a PDF file, you need a viewer installed on your PC. The most common is Adobe Reader. If you do not have it, you may download it from Adobe. Click on the link that says "Get Adobe Reader." Another option is the Foxit Reader, available from Foxit Software. Downloading and installing these are fairly easy. Many PCs come with a PDF reader already installed.
When you click on a link to a PDF file, the file will open in your browser for you to read. You may also print it or save it. If you prefer, you may save the file to your PC directly without opening it first by right-clicking on the link and selecting Save Target As from the menu.
